As Europe sees a rising wave of anti-Semitism, Holland becomes the latest country to ban kosher food production. Rabbi Michael Melchior an Israeli official and a former chief rabbi of Norway, was quick to make a note that one of the first steps in Adolf Hitler's anti-Semitic drive was to ban Kosher slaughter of animals. It has been noted that ever since the Palestinian intifada began two years ago, Jews around the world have experienced the worst anti-Semitism since World War II.
